Performance Tracker works with the following versions of Microsoft Excel - Excel 97, Excel 2000, Excel NT, Excel 2003 and Excel 2007.

Performance Tracker is a high-value low-cost system. It was designed to be operated from Desktop PCs, Teacher Laptops or the school network.

There is no annual maintenance fee and we provide free email support for 6 months and free upgrades by email as they become available.

We want to ensure that cost is no barrier to schools being able to purchase an effective Pupil Performance Monitoring System.

With Performance Tracker you need only to enter termly pupil assessment or SATs data instantly to produce the following results:

  • Pupil Attainment Targets for Reading, Writing and Mathematics.
  • Differentiated Targets set for Gifted and Talented and for SEN Pupils.
  • Subject-by-subject performance analysis.
  • Covers pupil cohort for all Foundation, Primary and Junior years.
  • Automatically colour-highlighted progress analysis
  • Shows pupil performance above or below Target (see screenshot).
  • Individual pupil graphs showing progress in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.
  • Can show comparative data for peer group average.
  • Charts covering:
  • Foundation to Junior years, showing average termly performance against Target for cohort year, average male and average female (see screenshot).

Performance Tracker automatically produces printable graphs for Reading, Writing and Mathematics. The graphs track a single year entry across their school career from Foundation to Junior showing the average performance of all pupils, all males, all females and the median.

Using point and click with your mouse you can add the performance of an individual pupil to any graph.

All graphs are exportable for printing using a suitable word processor such as Microsoft Word.


  • Schools are now required to report on Value Added.
  • DfES measure Value Added only at end of KS2.
  • Performance Tracker measures the annual Value Added subject by subject.
  • Performance Tracker will automatically provide you with charts and tables showing:
  • Value Added for Reading, Writing, Mathematics and Science for each school year.
  • Performance Tacker automatically analyses your standard data input.
  • Produces clear charts and tables for each year and for KS1 to KS2 (screenshot).
  • Uses sophisticated grading and points boundaries.
  • Reveals when and where Value Added can be improved.


  • All data is exportable in spreadsheet, CSV or database formats.


  • We have a policy of making updates freely available by email. If you need us to send you a disk we make a charge of £20.00 plus VAT to cover the costs of production, postage and packing.


Performance Tracker will run on any PC or Laptop equipped with Microsoft Excel (Microsoft Office 97 onwards) and on Apple Macs with Excel 2004. If you wish to run it on a system that has Microsoft Office XP or Microsoft Excel 2003 onwards please ensure that you have installed Service Pack 3.
